apovathrarachnophobia

n.

The unreasonable fear that there is a spider with the personality of Piers Morgan somewhere.

From Greek "αποβάθρα" (Pier), "αράχνη" (spider) and English suffix -phobia. Origin not quite reconstructible, might have been invented while half-asleep and listening to the news, on which both Piers Morgan and spiders were mentioned.

Example Usage:

T: There’s a spider in the bathroom!

A: Oh my god – is it a Piers Morgan type spider?

T: No, just a plain spider. You’re not apovathrarachnophobic, are you?
